Captain Harlock Munny by HDorsettcase Captain Harlock Munny by HDorsettcase
Leji's Captain Harlock. Here's the breakdown for you:

Paint is enamel since I like to double up its uses with my modelling.

I did all the yellow trim on the body with yellow cardstock. I did the trim on the arms and body, but with the cape you can't see them.

Yes the leather is real leather. Can't shortcut that. I did end up painted the gravity saber sheath since the glue I used to attach it crazed the leather. The gloves were an absolute pain in the ass to make since I had to cut individual pieces of leather and mold them over the hands into one shape. The eyepatch is also leather, but is hard to see.

The wig was from a hippie costume I got at the store. Just trimmed it up a bit.

The cape was made with two layers of felt with yellow trim. Since I'm no good at sewing I glued it all together. Unfortunately that caused the glue to craze in some spots, but I'll live. Originally I wanted to make the cape removable, but due to the difficulty of getting it on and making it look right I just fixed it how I wanted it and will leave it there. There's numerous staples holding it together on the inside, which looks really ugly and is another reason not to take it off. The skull was made from a button and toothpicks.

The buckles are just styrene with a little putty on them to get the shapes right.

I was lucky enough to get a reay gun with my munny, which I modified to a cosmo dragoon with a little bit of styrene tubing.

More photos to come when my camera's batteries recharge.
